Duro-Last Awards 2020 Sustainability Award to Superior Services

Superior Services R.S.H, a premier commercial roofing company serving Michigan was recently awarded the Duro-Last 2020 Sustainability Project Award for their roof replacement job at Bishop Elementary in Ypsilanti, MI. For this project, the school had a bid requirement to recycle the old roof materials. Superior removed the previous roof membrane materials and sent them to Duro-Last as a part of the Duro-Last Recycle Your Roof program. These recycled roof membrane components are then manufactured for products such as flooring, walkway pads versus going into a landfill.

As a part of this school roofing construction project, Superior utilized Duro-Last custom pre-fabricated curb and stack flashings. Additionally, Superior used Duro-Last drain inserts, custom scupper collector boxes, and EXCEPTIONAL metals an etched-edge roof system.
