Position Responsibilities:

• Manage a roofing crew to complete small and large-scale roofing projects
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of a roofing crew
• Report directly to a Project Manager on assigned projects
• Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs
• Training and instructing the crews on all specifications required for each project
• Submit daily production progress reports
• Examine and inspect equipment and construction sites to verify safety requirements are met
• Identify potential problems before they arise and implement effective solutions
• Always maintain high standards of quality control
• Ensure that crews abide by all Safety Rules and Regulations

Skills & Requirements:

• Must have 3+ years of experience overseeing commercial roofing or construction projects
• Valid driver’s license required
• Strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers and team members
• Must be able to climb to roofs of varying heights
• Must be willing to work weekends, when necessary

The ideal candidate will be experienced in both routine maintenance and repair of light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment, as well as experience operating heavy equipment including cranes, telehandlers and semis, with a focus on quality workmanship, time management, and efficiency. Significant experience in only one area of the position may be sufficient for a candidate willing to learn.
